It is located in the dynamic state of Gujarat.   We are proud of our enduring dedication to education and global possibilities.   IAES was an authorized EducationUSA advising center from May 1999 until November 2023.The advisers at the IAES are been trained and certified by the US State Department.

Our Center caters to the requirements of the students from major cities of Gujarat. Our membership base consists of students from all over Gujarat including cities like Baroda, Gandhinagar, Nadiad, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Mehsana, Palanpur, Modasa, many more, and of course Ahmedabad.

Since its inception, our Center has shown steady growth in terms of the number of students utilizing the Center’s facilities. Since its inception in 1999, more than 4500 members through our Center have gone to the United States for higher studies in various US Universities including Stanford, Harvard, Carnegie Mellon, Pennsylvania State University, University of Michigan- Ann Arbor, Purdue University, University of Texas – Austin, North Carolina State University and several others.

Our Purpose

Every year several thousand Indian students go to the United States for higher education. A large number of them are from the state of Gujarat. While the entire process of getting admission in the U.S. Universities is very long and complex, other procedural formalities like getting a student visa also require a considerable amount of preparation and guidance. There are several private consultants operating in this field but their information is restricted. Not only this but there is a significant gap between reality and perception. Indian students rely upon piecemeal information received from their friends, relatives, and consultants and undergo severe cultural shock upon their arrival in US university campus.

Therefore, a very strong need was felt that there should be a center which has credibility and provides authentic and genuine information, guidance and advice to the prospective students for seeking admission in the US. The members of Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) addressed this issue by organizing few seminars. However, seven successful professionals of Ahmedabad who had been educated in the USA took the initiative and organized to form Indo American Education Society as a non-profit organization under the chairmanship of Mr. Vishnu Varshney. These members contributed personal funds to the initial corpus to meet the start-up expenses and approached US Educational Foundation In India for granting an official EducationUSA advising center status.
